Louboutin Love - Chic this Summer

We are Louboutin-ians and proud of it !
Christian Louboutin is most definitely one shoe designer who managed to transpose the dream shoes of us women into reality, and this can be proofed of course by taking a glimpse at the shoe designs created by Louboutin over time.

CL's spring 2011 collection is to die for, I would.
Here's a peek at some of the stellar shoes from the line, pick a favorite and determine your style!

The trademark red sole completes the look of his shoes and Christian Louboutin  shoes for spring summer 2011 can emphasize this statement as they are highly diverse and they all look fabulous.

The red sole seems to suit absolutely any shoe color and this makes the shoes stand out. No wonder JLo wrote a song about these diving shoes. Combining comfort with style seems to be Louboutin's mantra and he's doing an excellent job of sticking to it!

One of the shoe styles which manages to stand out is the platform shoe style which looks adorable and which is highly popular and suitable this spring-summer 2011 season. It seems that vintage styles have made a huge comeback and these shoes are meant to complete the look of any vintage style outfit.

The platform offers great benefits when it comes to posture, comfort as well as look, so no wonder they have maintained their popularity. Louboutin's platform shoes look fabulous, elegant and underline a vintage style through color.

High heeled ankle booties seem to be highly popular designs as well as they look amazing and offer the leg a great amount of support.

These ankle length shoes can be worn with skirts, shorts, as well as skinny pants so they are highly versatile. The colors Christian Louboutin opted for are navy jeans, electric blue suede, green, as well as a multi toned ankle strap shoe.

Then there's the classics.

Zara-fying your closet!

So the new ZARA store opened to the public in Delhi on Friday,29th of May.

The store is located on the ground floor of Select City Walk, Saket. If you're entering from the Haagan Dazs  walkway, you cant miss it! It's three stores long and five stores broad. Just like every other ZARA outlet in the world.

Designed along the lines of retail outlets like Marks & Spencers, Macys, Mango and our desi Pantaloons etc, the store caters to everyone - men , women and children.

From shoes, accessories and apparel  to funky stuff like junk jewelry and hats, their  merchandise is vibrant, fun and surprisingly reasonable!

Though Zara is a Spanish brand ( most people think its Middle Eastern), it has done exceptionally well in the Eastern half of the world. The west hasn't responded to the brand and its offerings that passionately.

Speculation about the brand's success quotient was a plenty when the store launch was announced six months ago. Everybody was trying to figure out if it would sink or rise to be an Olympic champion.

Most reviewers contemplated that the pricing of Zara's merchandise in India would be higher than the average in the States and the Middle East, since its competing with brands like Aldo, Nine West, Mango, Ed Hardy and Ralph Lauren ( Polo Club).
These gorgeous patent beige peep toes (pumps) are a DIRT CHEAP Rs 4000/- ONLY ! (I tried my very best to not melt)
Here is the perfect example of the basic beige pump that every woman must own!

But for all us budget friendly fashionistas, GREAT NEWS! The store isn't even Kazo or Kimaya expensive! Its your regular slightly more reasonable than Aldo expensive!
And the collection they've got for their launch is quite yummy!

Though, I must warn you, from fear of being trampled by the hundreds of excited shoppers - men, women, aunties, uncles, kids and various others :P, go with your shopping tools in handy - your credit card, your best friend and you wits !

Crazy psychedelic colors in shoes have come a Zara trademark!

Its a completely fun experience shopping at Zara, though a little crazy for the first few weeks.
Happy Shopping!!
